I have full fibre 900, currently play games over wifi, would like a new socket installing in the study so I can have wired connection.
So my question is, how do I arrange for openreach to come and install this, and how much would it cost for this extension.
Also would I need a second router in the study.
Any help would be appreciated.

You cant have an additional fibre socket. What you can do is to have an ethernet cable installed bewtween where your existing router is and where you want the wired connection. You then connect this to a LAN socket on your existing router and, at the other end, either to a single device or to a wireless access point (or router configured as such).
Openreach will not do this but any competent electrician or network engineer would provide it. If you are a competent diy'er you could also do it yourself and complete kits are available e.g https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144923533169

@Huntleyroe if running the cable internally is not practical, then you can get kits with external grade cable and cable clips
e.g https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290903758256
