New contract/new hub

Hi all

I am a Plusnet customer and have taken out a new contract with a new hub 2 while we wait for FTTP to be available. As I have an activation date, does that mean my old connection will end, and I will need to wait for activation before plugging in the new router, or can I plug it in and set up as  soon as it arrives?

@iwbrock

You can plug it in as soon as it arrives. If it's a straight forward re-contract then there is no activation required.

All that's needed is to review your WiFi settings (the Hub2 will be different). You can either login to the Hub2 and change the settings to what you currently use or change all your devices to the new SSID.

Hi

I'm still on an FTTC product, but have dropped my phone line, will that make a difference?
