Interesting. I have exactly the same problem. I contacted Norton and initially they said to wait a further 24 hours and the order would complete. If that did not happen get back in touch. I pressed to ask what the issue was, as I had separate e-mails telling me there was an issue. The support agent had no idea what the issue was.
They ten proceeded to tell me the order had been placed on hold by Plusnet - I have no idea they could interfere with another company's order process, I must watch out when I order groceries on-line...
I asked how this was possible, again no answer. I was the told it would complete in 24 hours and if not to get back in touch. Wait, what...?! You just told me Plusnet placed it on hold. So basically Norton have not got a clue what the problem is or how to fix it.
I thought I'd try Norton again, being as it's free, but at this point, given that they seem utterly clueless, free is not cheap enough.
Get yourself Bitdefender, at least that will actually work, and you'll get to download and install it too!
I'd be interested to know if you contacted Norton and what they told you!

Me again (sorry ;-))
Yeah, add me on there too. I also got that same message after I registered for my Norton download.
Although, I'm not actually that bothered by it, I was simply curious as to how well it might work in a fully Apple setup, as it was free, seemed there was nothing to lose.

Hi Gandalf
Just spoken with one of the Tech Support ladies at Plusnet who advised to let you know to add me to the list too. I have spoken to Norton, who were not very helpful, just told me product is on hold as it's not available in the UK! After the confirmation of the order I get a page showing there is an issue with the order, then I get about 10 emails over the next hour saying there is an issue with the order.. not much help I know. Screen shot attached.
