I was migrated to Greenby early in March 2026 and I have not been able to change my email password since then. My login to Greenby fails every time I try. So I am accessing my email through the old Plusnet portal. I have been getting far more spam since the migration and today somebody seems to have got access to it and tried to use cards in my Google wallet. Changing the email password might stop them, but I can't do it. Has anyone got any ideas?

Are you sure you are changing/using the right password?
With Plusnet, you account passwaord for the member centre was also used to sign on to webmail.
With Greenby, they may start off the same (as migrated) but the password for greenby.com can be set different to the password for webmail.greenby.com
So when you say your login to greenby fails, which login are you talking about?

My migration email from Greenby said 'Simply log in with your Plusnet email credentials at greenby.com to access your mailbox and continue using your email as usual.' I tried and it wouldn't work.
I can't see a way of viewing my email on greenby.com.
My plusnet login doesn't work and when I ask for a reset they don't send me a code.
It seems impossible to get in.
I can still see my emails in plusnet webmail, but there in no option in plusnet to change password.
Greenby.com response was 'phone plusnet', I phoned plusnet and the message said contact greenby.
So I am still stuck.

To see email via Greenby.com Portal
Greenby.com >>> Email >>> VIEW WEBMAIL ( or follow the 3 dots menu to Change Password )

Well, I did that a few days ago as a precautionary move because of the vast increase in Spam I've been getting under the new migrated regime.
But IT DOESN'T WORK - you change the password, it has no effect, it still only recognises the old password.
TBH I'm just glad of the pleasant surprise I get every morning to find that my email continues to work, somehow, while everything in this whole bloody Greenby fiasco is hanging by a thread. .

I suspect you're not using the 'default' email address (<accountname>@<accountname>.plus.com) when trying to login to the Greenby portal.
It should accept just your accountname & password similar to login to the Plusnet member centre

I eventually managed to get into Greenby and my email showed that somebody had hijacked my email address and password and sent mail to all my contacts. Fortunately most of them seem to have been stopped. I'm not sure how they found my contacts. I changed my passwords and disabled my mailboxes in Greenby. I am using alternative email accounts and abandoning Plusnet/Greenby.
