Will PN redirects migrate to Greenby?

My question is in the topic.
When migrated to Greenby, will my redirects continue to function, and will this cost?

Re: Will PN redirects migrate to Greenby?

Redirects point to an email address, not a provider, so its no change.

Redirection is not a sound strategy, especially if the redirection service does not implement SRS.  Emails should be delivered direct to the destination mailbox, rather than being redirected.

After migration, you might explore the possibility of transferring your domain name into the the new service.

Re: Will PN redirects migrate to Greenby?

I use redirects from <throwaway one-off >@myplusnetdomain.co.uk to an actual single Plusnet mailbox as a spam control strategy for every untrusted business or entity that I expect to have minimal, low-value communication with. I have hundreds of these.

If they don't migrate over, it's going to be a LOT of disruption.

Specific redirect / aliases or just catch all?

Re: Will PN redirects migrate to Greenby?

Is it confirmed yet.
I have a redirect that today has ceased operating.
Could it be a PN>Greenby issue/migration in process?

@jkg

Can you please clarify / define "ceased operating".

*.plus.net has most certainly not migrated to Greenby, so that is not a factor ... there might though be other issues.  I have ran a text which failed, but I need to clarify why it failed.

Ceased operating in that no emails being received today.
However, soon after I posted, a glut of emails arrived, and service has resumed, so panic over.

May be / maybe not!

What time did they arrive?  Just after midday?

I have raised a query to review my own observations.
