Webmail down?

Tried to access Webmail at various times since 10:00am today.
All I get is the message
ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.
My other car isn't a Ferrari

Re: Webmail down?

Yep - same for me.  These forums are also going extremely slow too.  Maybe some server issues at PN?

Re: Webmail down?

Its been down for a while.  Perhaps a holding or temporary page would be better than letting people log in (or attempt to) and receive an error - just remove the holding page when its fixed?
Im sure it will be back up soon - just as long as mails arent lost then it should be ok.  Is it affecting access via pop3 from a non PN connection?  (before I go to the trouble of setting one up)

Re: Webmail down?

No email should be lost guys and we're working as hard as we can to restore service. FWIW, POP3/IMAP access via a standalone mail client should still be possible.

Re: Webmail down?

How is it now?
We had to temporarily disable POP3 on Madasafish as it was impacting access to Webmail, we turned it on again briefly a short while ago but the same thing started happening. It's off again now so the errors should have stopped (it was a similar situation yesterday evening Dancer2).
