Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

Totalise won't be moved for a while yet, as we have work to do with them.

However, your broadband is independent of this, so if you (sadly) leave us, whilst your PN account is closed, your Totalise will remain as is.

Hi @incopably,

Welcome to the Community!

This migration is still a while away from happening, but you will receive an email to let you know when this will be happening.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

@plusnettony

I'm guessing I'll be at the back of the queue for migration to Greenby, as I have various legacy Plusnet services (webspace, domain name etc).  However, my current contract (including landline phone) runs out in June, and I suppose that will be before Greenby take over.

I've just checked on the portal and it no longer seems to be possible to renew existing contracts, only to start a new broadband-only package, or transfer to EE.  Either of those would lose my webspace etc.  (Though I'm less concerned about the landline phone.)

So what should I do?

Transferring to a broadband only package (SoGEA or Full Fibre) with Plusnet would not lose your webspace & domain name, but you would lose the landline. If you wished to retain the landline number , you could always take out a third-party voip service and port the number

NB dont attempt to port the number BEFORE the change to broadband only has been completed and you've had notification of such.

I just 'renewed' from the unlimited fibre (with landline, webspace, etc.) to full fibre (no landline) and I still have my webspace etc.  I just lost the landline.

When you try to logon to greenby.com are you sure that you used the same userid, password and provider that you can use to logon to plus.net ?

The Delivered-To header seems you indicate you may have been migrated. If you look at the headers again, find the first Received header - what is between from and by ?

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

I've had the email saying I'm migrated to Greenby but cant log in at Greenby.com.

If I request a password reset I don't receive the email with a code.

If I click the link to say I didn't get the code it says they cannot identify me and to call Plusnet CS.

The Plusnet filter say if I'm migrated then Plusnet don't have access to my account.

How do I escape this loop ?

@CWatters What identity and password did you initially attempt to log into the Greenby portal? I used my account name and account password with no issue.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

I've tried everything... email address, plusnet account name, this forum account name etc

If I enter my email address and request a password reset it says its sending a code but that never arrives.

My primary email is actually working but my sons isn't.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

So, it is a secondary mailbox under your main account? If you log into the Greenby portal and select Email at the top left, does your son's email appear in the list?

Can you log on to the Greenby webmail directly at: Roundcube Webmail :: Welcome to Roundcube Webmail (greenby.com)

Bear in mind that here, instead of your Plusnet Username (as with the PN webmail), you need to use your full PN email address as your Username - password is same as with PN.

No, I can't log into the primary account.

Once I can log into the primary account I need to fix a problem with a secondary email.

Yes I can log into the webmail, just not my account at greenby.com.
