Sorry you are still getting them, @Batphone - I've only had three since these comedians started, and none in the last 36-48 hours.
No doubt this is receiving a lot of attention, but the inter-web is complex, as I'm sure you know, so it isn't a simple fix.
Yep, agreed, its never that straightforward to fix.
BTW, I tried to report the URL to Amazon AWS but the form got rejected because it apparently my submission contained malicious content! Of course it did! The form asks you to paste in the complete e-mail with all headers and body, so it will naturally contain whatever the e-mail contains. In light of this, I have e-mailed AmazonAWS to ask how do I make a report.
Fortunately for me, its only been a trickle so its not been that bad. Its no doubt more of an issue for those that are getting blacklisted.

So their 'reporting 'system' is as laborious as Googles then, although my spam reports got through to them (I assume, as you don't get acknowledgements). You would expect the receiving point to be sandboxed so they could see everything without compromising their systems, though.

The last Boots rogue email I had was on September 20. The spoofed email address is <******@******.plus.com>.
Has anyone tried emailing one of the spoofed folks?
Btw, a simple validation check comes up with this one being genuine.
Like everyone else, I don't envy PN in sorting this out.

I’ve had to sent it from an alternative email because I’m still blacklisted.
The ‘up to’ 5 working days Plusnet have said it will take to sort my account expire today.
Somehow I think it will take longer 😩

Meanwhile I continue my move to outlook email.
Plusnet customers that do the same will cost Plusnet nothing IF they if they STAY with Plusnet for BB.
I’m moving because my ex Plusnet Mobile is with EE and I get free data and WiFi hotspots if I take my BB to them.
I’m 3 months into a new 2 year contract with Plusnet, but EE will pay the early termination fees.
If Plusnet had kept the mobile service and offered the same benefits I’d be staying with them 🤷♂️

Im still blacklisted and the agent who sent my case to the back end team is off sick! I just called Plusnet and was told that he is the ONLY person who can chase it up - that is ridiculous! I now have to hope he's back after the weekend 😞

It is, @purkle - and I also suspect it is incorrect.

I 'discussed' it with the agent who had to come here to look at the forum as the agent did not know about the problems!
All they could see was that I had been advised to change my password and do a virus scan!!!!
I said that it was ridiculous they couldn't by pass the original agents request and asked what happens if he's off sick next week! The agent was sure they would be back - I'M NOT HAPPY with their apparent inability to go the extra mile 😞 The agent I spoke to said they'd spoken to their manager!

Ah, if you raised it as a 'Complaint' then yes it is a little more difficult, but I see no compelling reason why another member of the complaints team couldn't check it.

Indeed. That someone is off sick is one thing - it happens. But that no one is willing to check or is empowered to deal with the matter in that persons absence seems rather poor.

@Batphone My suspicions are that the whole of BT Group PLC is managed by the ghosts of 'GPO Telephones', as they oriiginally were, back in the 20th century. Fortunately, I haven't had many problems, but I recall at couple of times about 20/21 months ago when I was on FTTC and an altnet put their CBTs on our poles.
Their 'engineers (twice) managed to disturb the cables between the poles and our houses, which meant that the phones were unusable (heavy crackling) and we had to each contact our respective ISPs and 'try another router', even though I told my ISP what the issue was, and they agreed, but 'OR won't entertain a visit until we send the router out and you test it'. That cost us a total of 2.1/2 wasted weeks.
The 'repair' took OR about 20 minutes!

I faced something similar when we were on FTTC - lots of micro drops, go through LOTS of hoops providing the evidence myself and no being believed, only for Open reach to eventually find a corroded copper connection on the back of the card in the cabinet!

Irksome as it might be, once an issue is pushed to 'complaint' status, everyone else is required to back off and leave the matter in the hands of the assigned complaints manager, I guess to ensure continuity and avoid overlapping actions.
Pressing the big red complaints button should only be a last option having exhausted proper channels.

Yep - agreed 🙂 No big red button will help 😉
The hands of those blacklisted are completely tied.
I do wonder how long the unblocking process (once started) takes, though. If it's only a matter of minutes per customer or if it's a longer process 🤔

That depends on the black list.
It might help if folks can report which blank lists their domains are on. See MXTOOLBOX.
