Process to transfer domain to cloudflare

I would like to move my domain from plusnet to cloudflare to solve issues with sending/receiving emails to gmail and others. I have setup an account with cloudflare and looks like the process involves updating the NS records, then moving over, but seems that is not normally supported, but seems that some have had luck getting it updated via this forum. Does anyone have any suggestion on the best way to achieve this?

Assuming it's a .uk, we need the IPSTag of Cloudflair. 

Changing the DNS on it's own, and leaving the tag as FORCE9 isn't supported. 

To progress, you can call in, or I can log a ticket in your account for you to reply to with authority.

Thanks. I have been reading and it seems cloudflare doesn’t allow transfer without the dns being updated first, so I have signed up with ionos to transfer to them (as then I can update the dns and point it at cloudflare and after 60 days transfer again). I have raised a ticket to get the IPs tag updated (did it as making a complaint as couldn’t find a way to get to the web form otherwise).
