Plusnet nor Greenby emails working again

But it is NOT working now, not by a million miles. For a week, i.e. since last Saturday, April 4, it has been hellish chaos. NOT getting emails at all, not on my Mac Mail not on the Greenby webmail site. I have no idea what to [-Censored-] do! We're stymied. And I suspect it is a Mickey Mouse outfit given that it is the SAME guy who answers 'my tickets', usually after 24 hours..
Plusnet have washed their hand of it all, unsurprisingly - 'not our problem any more, squire'. I wouldn't mind but everything from the NHS, HMRC, EDF on uses the Plusnet email. Just bloody hopeless!

What exactly is "NOT working now", Greenby webmail or your mail client software on a device? Is this a direct Plusnet email address?
I have just logged on OK to my Plusnet email account via Greenby - so it is working for me, AFAICS.

Just for the record I still can't send emails to icloud accounts using my plus.com account.

For many weeks, before migration, my emails to hotmail addresses were not delivered. At the time, Plusnet said it was a problem with compatibility with Microsoft systems. However this seems to be resolved as emails are now getting through. The situation with an outlook address seems similar. I don't think I've ever sent to an icloud address.

Frankly, what a strange post.
I have been with Plusnet for more than 20 years and did not have ANY email problems with my Plusnet addresses until a few months ago when I was migrated to Greenby. At first there were occasional glitches but since April 2 I am getting none of the daily newsletter sent out from the media (which I need for my work) and only a pitiful trickle - about 2% - of all other emails. And the invariably, for no reason at all the end up in the junk folder and THAT on Greenby's own website.
Face it, Greenby are a gang of wannabes and digital cowboys and it part of the blame lies with Plusnet for not first scoping out just how good, well-prepared, competent and solid Greenby were. They so obviously did not and I wouldn't doubt that when casting about to off-load their email service then went for the cheapest deal offered, Greenbys. This is all a joke way beyond being funny, and there is f**k all we can do about it.

None of it is working, zilch. I am getting baout 1% of my Plusnet emails! That's it, and I cannot work withouth the daily newsletters I'm subscribed to.
Did Plusnet checkout Greenby when it did it's deal or just went for the cheapest?

I have just this minute logged in via webmail and picked up two emails. Both sent by nonreply@community-mailer.plus.net and relating to this thread....
How come one came into my 'inbox' and the other into 'junk'....

What exactly is not working? What sort of user email account do you have? Are you using webmail or a client email program? I am an original Plusnet account email user, now on Greenby using webmail, and I am continuing to receive incoming mail normally AFAICS. As for spam, I haven't received a single spam email while on Greenby. But I wasn't normally spammed when on Plusnet email either. I do have the occasional genuine message put into the Spam folder, though that is easy enough to correct. Didn't happen on Plusnet email, but then my Plusnet account email settings had spam filtering OFF. After the move to Greenby I found their account email settings had spam filter ON, set to Level 3 (More Aggressive), by default. I have now changed it to Level 8 (Less Aggressive).
The current problems I do have are:
• Slow operation on Greenby webmail
• Erratic service availability
I put the above down (hopefully) to the effects of ongoing transfer operations.
• Delivery failures to certain destinations (my experience is to Gmail)
Though whether this is specific to Greenby or to the existing Plusnet domain IPs I do not know.
I find it really difficult, without expert inside information, to decide whether particular email problems are due to Plusnet, Greenby, the transfer itself, or something unrelated. Though it doesn't seem to have stopped others deciding!

Well, bully for you and I bet you Mum is pleased. But I for the past month I can neither send nor receive emails from my two Plusnet accounts neiher on Mac Mail or on the Greenby webmail site. THAT is what is 'not working', pal!
