@minimal7 As all your 'additional' mailboxes are under the same subdomain - 'anything@accountname.plus.com' - moves.

There is no need for such - it is the ACCOUNT which is being moved, not (just) the mailbox. The advice of migration is sent to the ACCOUNT contact email address, which might not be a Plusnet email address.

Had a strange email from support @metronet .co .uk last night.
Said that they have raised a ticket to track an issue on my account. The email references Greenby and the changeover.
I have logged into the Greenby portal and there are no tickets raised aginst my metronet email addresses / account.

Check the email headers to determine the real sender address and message source.
@plusnettony does this sound legitimate? Does the business (or Greenby) communicate from support@metronet.co.uk or is this potentially a new “informed” scam vector?

I received a similar email last night. It suggests going to metronet support which I haven't used (or needed) since Plusnet takeover.
The email looks very genuine but a few days ago I received a couple of emails saying that my metronet email had been suspended. They were very obviously scams. Scammers are becoming ever more cunning and devious so I am reluctant to take action on this metronet support email until someone from Plusnet can authenticate.

I have logged in through the Greenby portal a couple of times today. My metronet Webmail addressess are fine and no tickets have been raised.
All my emails are coming through and I have sent out a couple without issue.
I will keep an eye on this but I am not going to respond to the ticket.
The ticket link within the email is http://portal.metronet.co.uk/contact_us.html

I would like to know if it is safe to follow up this metronet support ticket. Although my metronet emails are sending and receiving I do have a problem with the Greenby email dashboard. To change settings you need access to the Mailboxes Forwarders Filters and Settings buttons. These are not visible on my dashboard and Greenby AI has no answer other than saying I need access to one or other of those.. It may or may not be a coincidence that the metronet ticket has been raised at the same time as a Greenby ticket about this.

Well that link is legitimate, but it just routes to the Plusnet portal landing page.
Is that the only link?
@plusnettony - do you have any intel on what Greenby might be doing please?

@Townman As you say - goes to Plusnet landing page instead of metronet - seems the Metronet portal now defunct. But the mystery deepens because the metronet support email quoted my original metronet log in name. And there no ticket showing on the Plusnet account when I log in there. Can somebody please answer on behalf of Plusnet support who signed the mystery email.

I received a similar email yesterday.
All the links look ok (ie at their source level).
At the moment I'm ignoring it any any others similar.
It would be useful to know if this is legitimate or a very sophisticated scam.
