@Phaeton @redsox9

Have you tried disabling the Anti-Spam completely ?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

That's the final solution and next on the agenda.  I know some people are thinking of disabling Greenby and Plusnet completely.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

@MisterW I've now turned it down to 7 another illogical thing, surely 10 should be More Agressive & 1 Less Agressive & not the other way around

However that is not really the point is it, it's clearly not fit for purpose & should be fixed, as a customer I shouldn't have to be finding 'workarounds' & what about those thousands of other customers not on this thread who are oblivious to emails being marked as Junk?

@Phaeton @redsox9

I turned 'anti-spam' down to 10 and was still getting legitimate emails put in the junk folder.

I've turned it off completely now and have had <5 actual spam emails in the half-dozen or so mailboxes that I have. That's easier to deal with than checking them all via webmail every day to find 'missing' messages.

@Phaeton

"This is a god awful service, which the Plusnet board should be ashamed of themselves."

I agree with you.  What was the Plusnet board thinking, when they sent us to an email service that isn't even capable of listing emails properly!!  I shudder to think about what is being planned for Plusnet's future.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

My suggestion, for what it is worth, is to do what I have done, and move your emails to a dedicated email service. It is a pain changing all your contact details, but worth it once done.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

Do you have one of legacy Plusnet e-mail addresses they handed out following the 1990s data breach or just a generic plus.com one?

If that question was aimed at me, @dgp , I do not have the webspace, just a standard email.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

@jab1 I understand that, but I have had this email domain address for over 30 years & an F9 one before that, everything goes through this domain. People with whom I only contact infrequently know they can still get in touch with me if needed on this email domain address.

Is this not blaming the customer for wanting to use the system, rather than fixing the problems? I know I am preaching to the converted, but the alternative does not bear thinking about.

I'm still waiting to be moved to Greenby , I'm only using Totalise , no domain . Reading all the comments I am seriously considering not joining Greenby , not worth all the hassle .

Well there were !!! Quelle Surprise and all that. From circa 0530 hours for several hours.

Appeared to be only affecting *.plus.com A/Cs and not *.force9.net A/Cs.  Authentication issues. Also webspace availability issues despite still being hosted on PN servers Roll_eyes.It's seriously [-Censored-] very often as I'm sure you, PN and all us allegedly valued customers know only too well.

Situation this morning  very much kinda normal in my experience so far Sad  Yesterday it was mostly *.force9.net A/Cs affected. Both POP3 and IMAP affected may or may not have affected webmail I didn't bother trying just gave up.

B T Plusnet, a bit kinda like P T Barnum ...
... but quite often appears to feature more clowns
