Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

There is no need to be concerned. You'll get comms as promised. If you've had the first email, I would have expected you to have had a second from us though.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

@plusnettony I'm not bothered when it takes place, but I got a message 13/05 saying I would move ~14/07, but I haven't, nor have I received the revised info someone told me 'would be out in the next fortnight or so'  - about a month ago.😉

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

A follow up comms went out to some users, which I thought had gone to everyone. I'll chase this for you.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

Just to confirm, did you have the original email?

If so, when I am back, I can check your account / username / email address to see if it went, when it went etc. I'm out of the office for a short while, but remind me with a PM in a week and I'll get it checked for you.

I don't quite know what happened, @plusnettony , but the 'uninformative' follow-up email was somehow sent to my 'old' contact email addy and marked as spam, so wasn't highlighted - if you need further detail, I can supply it via PM.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

I have also see Greenby migration notifications turn up in different mail boxes,
initially my usual mail box later a catch all mail box.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

Phillip,

Are all those mailboxes on the same account?

Is that to the catchall mailbox the default email address on the account or some other?

How do the recipient addresses match (or do not) those on the account's contact details?

Thought that you were *.plus.com ... did not think migration for that has kicked off yet ... or have you been making liberal use of webmail ... but IIRC you have a hosted domain name ... so you should be at the back end of the programme, along side me ... though my account name is at the back end of the alphabet.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

@PhilipHeyes In the case I referred to above, the mailbox where the second communication turned up was one which only exists on my iPad - I thought it had been 'black-holed' - as it was supposedly deleted when I moved to an email-only account in 2021.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

I / we don't use Webmail.  We also are an email only a/c.

On 14/05/2025 &  06/08/2025 - the Greenby message was delivered to the nospam.keyline@ mail box.

On 13/05/2025 & 24/07/2025 - the Greenby message was delivered to my personal  plusnet email.

In all cases the address in the body of the Greenby migration update is the nospam.keyline@ mail box.

The message only contain info that there is going to be a migration to Greenby, it does not contain dates.

I have both a/c configured in MS Outlook so can see the messages in either mail account.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

I, too, don't use (Plusnet) webmail, but my contact address is an 'iCloud' one, and has been ever since I moved from PN, and yes, it IS recorded as such on my account.

Re: Plusnet email moving to Greenby

@plusnettony

As of Monday 25th August 2025 at 10:21 my metronet email account will receive emails but not send.

Configuration of my Thunderbird system as per my previous posting on this topic (ie no changes my end).

Perhaps Plusnet/Greenby finds info helpful.
