If you want to, yes, that's your prerogative, but that in itself will not cause any mail someone sends there to arrive in your Gmail account.  If no one is sending mail there ... why do you need to do anything?

In the context of this thread, if you do not have an on-going need for the Plusnet email service, when you received your migration advice email, just use the opt out facility and the service will die sometime thereafter.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks very much for your help. I'll just  opt out of transferring to Greenby and then I won't, as you say, have any Plusnet mailboxes thereafter. Seems to be a fairly easy option.
