Migration to Greenby

I'm well out of touch on this. I stopped using PlusNet's email service as my main mail provider a while ago, but I still have some automated procedures that send messages unathenticated via the PlusNet SMTP server (relay.plus.net). One of those failed this morning, and during my troubleshooting I read about the move to Greenby (first I've heard of it). Following a link from PlusNet to them I get a message saying "Your Greenby login will only be activated after your migration is complete. We'll notify you by email as soon as it's ready".

Should I assume that they're gradually migrating accounts with my turn having come up, and that I should just wait to hear from someone? Also, is the Greenby service free for those of us who had "grandfather rights" to the PlusNet email service?

Thanks.

Re: Migration to Greenby

@Boxersoft You will be informed when your service transfers. Are you an ex-Plusnet customer? If so, you can keep your PN email service, but it will cost £15.00/pa.

Re: Migration to Greenby

Thanks. I'm not ex-Plusnet, I'm current - been a broadband customer for more than 20 years, and email has always been provided as part of my package. I switched to a more comprehensive email service for most things a year or so ago, but still use the PlusNet service for a few things. So will I now have to pay for the new service or does it continue to be free for long-standing customers?

Re: Migration to Greenby

WHEN you move to Greenby, AIUI, the service will be free for PN customers for 2 years, after that, from what I have seen, it could become chargeable.
