All my emails from both my bespoke plus.com accounts have disappeared starting wef 2/10/25. All the sent emails are kept.
Since then I'm losing even more emails as they come in and the latest cut off point is now 14/11/25. ie I only have 'received' emails showing now from 14/11/25. This is a nightmare. I've not touched anything to the best of my knowledge.
The webmail shows mirrors the absence of emails as above. I've been told that this is part of the Greenby transition.
I cannot see that my addresses have been migrated so I'm in limbo - just losing received emails.
Could someone who 'knows' please help (I need precise instructions - I'm not IT minded) -
step 1 is to restore all my missing emails from pre 2/10/25 and
step 2 is to stop further emails 'dropping off'.
Many thanks.

@Brock23 Is your your email storage over the 1GB limit? Do you use webmail (or an IMAP client set-up)?

The FUP being exceeded will not give rise to the reported symptoms.
This is more typical to there being a POP3 email client being attached to the account, removing emails from the server after N days. This is a characteristic of the mixed use of POP3 and IMAP clients without a clear understanding of the potential risks.
If the user does not knowingly have a POP3 configured the consideration sound be given to the possibility that their credentials have been compromised and a malicious third party is harvesting their emails. A change of password might be an appropriate action.

OMG ... Have changed my passwords on my main login and the 2 mail boxes. Thank you !
I run Outlook on my PC
NB. The same has happened on my iPhone for both accounts mentioned.
Fortunately I have a laptop which I use to receive all emails. This runs on mozilla thunderbird. I realise that this has a full record of my emails received but not sent (from my PC).
I do no not delete emails or send from the laptop. Its purely a 'slave'. No settings have been touched
Trying to analyse the issue: have I in error done something to the settings on my PC with regard to these mail boxes, and as you say asked it to default delete after N days perhaps ?

That sounds awfully like a POP3 client!!
Really dangerous running a POP3 client in this manner to facilitate (poorly managed) email archiving. As you observe, POP3 does not touch the sent items folder on the server ... which amongst other reasons, is why POP3 is a bad tactic in place of a proper archiving strategy.

I believe everything(certainly my PC and phone) is SMPT so I'm not deleting any mails off to the best of my knowledge. I have spoken to the 'front desk' and they have convinced me (?) that this is a common fault with during the Greenby migration. My solution seems to be to save what I believe to be (now) important emails coming into my domain names by sending copies to gmail accounts. This is hardly satisfactory but it seems the best I can do until the transition mess is fixed. I've lost approx 18 months of accessible emails which is extremely frustrating and I'm not sure if and when others will be 'disappear' before the process is completed. It would seem that my emails/accounts have yet to be processed so I'm still trying to reconcile that with the reality of what's happening.
So, in summary a years+ worth of emails disappeared. Emails from 2/10/25 -commenced then disappeared up until 17/11/25 which is the latest emails currently held.
Many thanks for your suggestions

that can't be true. SMTP. is only for sending emails. The incoming setting must either be POP3 or IMAP
