Junk mail

I’ve been a customer of F9 for 25 years or more, but I’ve never had the levels of spam/junk/phishing emails before that I’m receiving now. It’s constant, all day long: “you’ve won this”; “here is your invoice”; etc etc. @plusnet, what’s going on?

Re: Junk mail

I agree. I am constantly forwarding spam to abuse@plus.net and spam@spamtraining.plus.com.
But got moved to Greenby yesterday and those addresses are no longer valid.

I wonder what Greenby is doing about reporting spam.

Re: Junk mail

Does the GreenBy email management portal have any controls for Spam or Junk email filters ?

Re: Junk mail

Not that I can see but to be fair, I didn't look that hard.

I have raised tickets and they appear to be answered by a bot which is never a good sign but is probably the norm now.

Re: Junk mail

If you do look again it would be interesting to know what is there.  Delivering a new email platform without a spam filter option would be providing less functionality than we had with Plusnet.

We are still on the PN email platform, we have seen the [-SPAM-] in the Subject be replaced by X-Spam: Yes in the  email's message header / source & I've changed my email filters in MS Outlook and Thunderbird to deal with this.

I hope the move to GreenBy does not result any any more unannounced spam filter changes or worse, loss of the X-Spam: Yes marking on junk emails.
