Is everybody's email down today?

Emails I send using webmail get received ok, but emails sent using Thunderbird are not received. I haven't changed any Thunderbird settings, so I don;t think the problem is me.

my email eventually got sorted last night but this morning I had to raise another ticket with Greenby as my wife's email was still not working (24 hours) - it was a Greenby server issue which they eventually sorted. This really doesn't reflect well on Plusnet - no doubt like a lot of others we'll go elsewhere for email and also for internet when my contract expires. A pity because Plusnet has always been great - until BT took them over !!

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues receiving email today? I've not received a single email to the main Mailbox account / aliases. Though my husband has received a couple of emails in his mailbox under the main account.

I sent a test msg to myself from my mobile. It got sent, but hasn't been received...

It is many months since I was forcibly and unwillingly migrated ...  during this time I've had issues, etc., (especially at night) but until today I've stayed quiet.

I too have not received any emails today, and neither has a close relative who lives in a different part of the country.

We have both also been sent 'test' messages from known 'other' third party email accounts (eg: gmail) and not only have the messages failed to arrive but they did not bounce back either. Instead they just vanished down a black hole.

I am awaiting messages - responses from businesses selling items where I had asked questions. I very much hope that they do eventually arrive - today, Monday 27th April 2026. I also await a 6 digit log in code for online shopping which has almost certainly already timed-out.

After returning from lunch out, my test msg and a flurry of other emails appeared on my mobile hours after they should have done. So whatever the server glitch was, it appears to have been resolved...for now.

Having been with Plusnet for over 20 years I was saddened that they were no longer going to be supporting email, and subsequently phones. Compared to many the migration from Plusnet net to Greenby was relatively issue free. Same login details worked. Nothing was missing. The amount of spam I was receiving has reduced, but I need to check webmail daily for false positives. I wish like Plusnet, Greenby had the facility to add email addresses to white and black lists.

As we seldom use the landline, we've opted to stay with Plusnet due to the email and have full fibre only package. The thought of updating our email address on countless online accounts at the moment doesn't bear thinking about. Though whether we stay with Greenby for the duration in the future is an entirely different question...

I didn't receive any emails until mid-afternoon today 27th April, either webmail or Thunderbird.

After posting my previous message I logged in to Greenby and raised a ticket. At first an AI responded but after a series of questions the AI tried to pass me over to a real human. However, no-one was available and I also needed to go out, so I switched everything off.

I have now returned and my emails have flooded-in, In addition a real human (Sajith) has replied to my ticket and said this:
(quote) We can see that the emails are receiving fine on your account.(end quote).

To my eyes his wording suggests that nothing had been wrong and the flow of emails had not been interrupted. I cannot prove anything but have to wonder, did someone make a configuration change somewhere????

Anyway, at least things are working again.

Regarding my future web connection, at one time the very idea of looking elsewhere was unthinkable. This is despite Plusnet not offering a voip service. Now I am unsure.

Mines been down for a few days now.  I've just looked into my webmail and find that it's complete empty - nothing in it, nothing received in the last few days. which really just isn't possible.  I even sent myself a test mail form a work account - didn't bounce but just doesn't show like it's vanished into a black hole.
