I'm not entirely convinced we are. However, back on topic:
Greenby webmail still working fine for me. 😐

Just to add to the confusion, I have several mailboxes on my Force9 account that I access in Win11 & Thunderbird.
Currently (at 14:30 on 5th) , after the total failure last night, some mailboxes seem to be fetching emails ok, but one is consistently giving Server Error. But all VERY slow.

@mavison Related to, but not the same as, your final few words, two of my five mailboxes throw up a 'change password' error every morning when I start up. I cancel it each time it pops up, and eventually everything works from then on. Roll on the 6th. December, then I can destroy those boxes, and the connection o the PN/Greenby ecosystem.

Greenby smtp (using ThunderBird) still dead for me - but now just on one out of two accounts.
One is now responding (but empty as only PlusNet accounts still mail that)
Both plus.net
Neither has had any settings changed since they worked with PlusNet - after all we are told it is 'seamless'.
----------------------
The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server mail.plus.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Internal error occurred. Refer to server log for more information. [2026-07-05 13:39:22]

Thunderbird has been giving me a 'serverbug' error message for the last few hours.
All of the messages in my main alias account have vanished in webmail.
Greenby is clearly not a reliable email provider. If things do not improve soon I can't see any possibility of me paying a subscription to them once the free trial period is over.

Same with me - I haven't changed any settings since the transfer from plusnet several months ago. The current problems started on July 2nd when I realised several important emails were not being delivered.
It hasn't recovered yet., in spite of interventions and assurances from a Greenby agent.

I've had the odd problem before but that's the date I started getting a bounce a day as well, with the file queue write error.

I've just received this response to my ticket with Greenby:
We are currently experiencing service disruption due to networking issues.
Our engineers are on site, and our team is working hard to restore service as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we resolve the issue.
In the meantime we thank you for your patience.

Was that response from the Greenby bot, or from an agent?
The bot told me at 21:53 last night in response to my ticket:
However, our system status shows that these incidents have been successfully fixed, and all services are now fully operational again.
... which we all now know was a total and utter lie. The bot is not always aligned with reality.
I am STILL getting Internal Error when Thunderbird tries to access one of my Force9 mailboxes - though webmail does now list my emails at least. SMTP sends have also failed 24 times in the last 8 hours witrh Queue Write Errors, and we are now over 20 hours since my (false) bot response.
