How do I confirm if I’ve been migrated to Greenby?

A silly question but bear with a non techie.  How do I know if I’ve been migrated?

Ive looked at https://webmail.greenby.com - it’s empty of mail

I get this when I go onto Greenby.com……

’Your Greenby login will only be activated after your migration is complete. We'll notify you by email as soon as it's ready.”

Ive logged onto Greenby.com with my Globalnet login so does this mean Ive migrated although none of my mail is showing?

No notification to date.

As I’ve got to leave Plusnet soon it would be comforting to know if the migration has happened.

Sorry to ask dumb questions!

Re: How do I confirm if I’ve been migrated to Greenby?

email server : mail.globalnet.co.uk  still has Plusnet IPs 212.159.9.234 and 212.159.8.234
this usually means the email accounts have not started to be migrated.

For a Greenby hosted mail server the mail server IP usually begins 91.x.x.x
E.g. for mail.plus.net it is : 91.204.208.26

Global haven't been done yet.

We'll send communication about changes then roughly a month later, migrations will start and you'll get notifications from Greenby once complete.

That might be too late as BT are pressing me to go to them within 30 days.  I had hoped I would be migrated so that I don’t lose my email address.

Broadband accounts are Plusnet

In this case, Email is with Global. They are separate accounts which are not connected.

Therefore, should your Plusnet account be switched off at 11am today, the unconnected Global account will continue as normal

Re: How do I confirm if I’ve been migrated to Greenby?

So does that mean my monthly payment to PN is just for broadband and my Globalnet email is free?  I thought it came as a package.  I’m so confused by it all!

Re: How do I confirm if I’ve been migrated to Greenby?

Hi @leopard99

As @plusnettony has advised, they are separate accounts and the Globalnet email address is not part of your broadband package.

Thanks.

Leanne.
