Greenby website is down

Over the weekend, the Greenby website has been down. Initially it would not allow me to authenticate to access my webmail. Now the website is responding with "Something went wrong. Try again later."

There is no other information being displayed and I'd like to phone their customer services department to see what's going on.

I realise that this is not a Plusnet issue as my e-mail has been migrated to Greenby but I wonder if anyone here knows of a Greenby customer services number I can use.

Thanks.

Re: Greenby website is down

I'm finding the same. No webmail, and no sign of the support ticket that I raised some days ago, which was never resolved by Greenby.

After the site fails to list my 4 mail accounts I get the error message: "Sorry, there has been an error, please try again. If the problem persists, please contact support."

Thankfully, I'm still able to get my PN mail using a client.

Seems greenby.com is responding again to give sign-on page ... but still fails to authenticate.

So still unusable after at least 18 hours. Shambles.

I'm still getting "Sorry, there has been an error, please try again. If the problem persists, please contact support. "

When I go to create a new ticket, I get the message "You can't create a ticket right now, please try again later."

In other words, the site is totally borked. Why a 'world-class' provider - Enix - is so woeful is an important question.

Re: Greenby website is down

It all makes a mockery of the statement on the "About Enix" page that says "we provide expert assistance around the clock."

Mine (Force9) has been down since Saturday too. Thank goodness Plusnet email is still working.

Has anyone contacted Plusnet asking them to make sure they don't switch it off anytime soon?

Re: Greenby website is down

I can now get into the Greenby website and authenticate successfully.

When I click Manage to access webmail it comes back with an error message overlay.

This fiasco of a GreenBy email migration and service will be how Plusnet are remembered.

Re: Greenby website is down

To be fair - yes I do try to be!

Since being migrated to Greenby, I have not been troubled with so much spam mail and "so far" I've not been experiencing the bounce-backs of e-mails in a distribution list containing Microsoft domain e-mails and iCloud domain e-mails.

Given that Greenby's SMTP and POP servers have been running over the weekend, all it would have taken is for a message to be sent out via that route to advise their customers of their website and webmail failures. Yes, it would not have been of use to those who only use webmail, but people like me who use both could have posted something meaningful on this Forum.

Such simple things that could make a big difference to their customers.

Do Plusnet and its owner BT care?

Re: Greenby website is down

Not in the least! There’s always “churn” with companies like ISPs and other broadband companies. Customers come and go.  BT/PlusNet will have taken the long view over costs versus income but they couldn’t care much less about their customers individually. The steady rundown of PlusNet culminating in this fiasco is just more evidence.

Re: Greenby website is down

When Greenby was down the "old" Plusnet webmail site (Webmail :: Welcome to Webmail) was working perfectly and faster than Greenby!

Also some genuine emails are being put in my Greenby spam folder, I have clicked that they are not spam but new emails are still being put into spam folder, how can I correct this?
