From following posts on here the transition seems shall we say sub-optimal. I set up a fall-back on gmail last August when plus closed my account by mistake. After some 25 years with plus having to change my addresses and notify hundreds of contacts was the one reason to hang on in: as new customers (which I became by default after the aforesaid [-Censored-]-up) don’t get webspace or email it’s hard to see the point of plus. For the record this forum has been the souce of salvation many times when “help and support” has opened a ticket and slept.
