Hi all, can anyone help me with a 3 day old issue please, slowly going out of my mind.
First off, at the email migration to Greenby, I chose the do nothing option.
I can receive and send email from my desk top pc absolutely fine but I've since run into issues with my wife's phone as hers seemed to get an error sending email which had been ongoing for a few weeks.(we both share the same address and email server details) , in desperation, I messed with uninstalling the app, changed the pw, but since then, now I cant send or receive email on my own mobile either.
I have set up and deleted settings and the app a hundred times but still cannot get email to work. I can copy the server settings from my desk top pc to the letter but this doesn't change the issue.
I have also used the new email set up and server details from the plusnet website for the Greenby migration and this also does not make any difference.
More often than not, I get a user name or pw is incorrect message even though everything matches my desktop pc and also plusnet member center details- pw and user name etc.
The only clue I can foresee is, do I have to register on Greenby to change my pw ? Although It seems at odds with the fact that I still have email access on my desktop with my latest pw. (I changed the pw on the member center a few days ago trying to troubleshoot this issue.
I am using a PN supplied hub so any pw should update automatically ?
I have had a seamless email experience with plusnet since their inception but this has now got me beaten.

"Thee only clue I can foresee is, do I have to register on Greenby to change my pw ?"
I am far from certain but expect you need to log in to the Greenby.com portal at least once (to officially 'set up' your account).
