Re: Email folder(s) contents emptied!

I have also lost my saved folder with all its emails. Any chance of getting them back?

Re: Email folder(s) contents emptied!

Same with one of my mailboxes, I keep the past few years in the Archives subfolder (INBOX.Archives.<year>) incase they're needed and when I go to cycle last year's mail I noticed the Archives are completely gone, in both Thunderbird and webmail.

A day or two later I get a strange email from a forged no-log.org address set to reply to some hotmail address, sender A, subject Question, asking if i am available by email for a few mins.

I changed my mailbox password shortly after just in case 😛

There has been some issues with folders not being automatically subscribed after the transfer.

Login to webmail , goto Settings'>Folders and check that all folders are subscribed

Re: Email folder(s) contents emptied!

In that case, it looks like someting has gone awry with the migration.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait for @Rach_H to come back with more information. Your folders shouldnt be lost, they will still be on the Plusnet servers.

Re: Email folder(s) contents emptied!

yes had this problem before but it took them days to sort it out, very frustrating  in the meantime I have no access to my emails! I stayed loyal to plusnet for many years in part because of the email but rapidly loosing faith!

Any recommendations for alternative email hosts?

Unless you have your own domain, its not possible to move your email to another host.

Re: Email folder(s) contents emptied!

In Settings > Folders, all folders directly below and including Inbox itself are checked, and all but Archives are also disabled so that they can't be changed.

There's no yearly named folders below Archives, when selecting Archives it shows that its parent folder is Inbox, and the info tab says 0 messages/size.

Hope this helps Smiley

Re: Email folder(s) contents emptied!

Thanks for that it brought them back after a short while. I have never bothered with the webmail portal until today is it always that slow to use? or is it because of the migration going on?

@Phantom

In that case we need @Rach_H to look into this one as well

Email access will be slowed down whilst migration is in progress

I've raised this with our team @Phantom, and I'll let you know when I hear anything back from them.
