Can't get into email

Help.

I now can't get into my email - not by using Thunderbird or by webmail.

 

Says "Login to server mail.plus.net with username [Removed] failed." 

Retry does no good.

@steveg has your email been migrated to Greenby ? if so then the problem is probably down to this https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/Greenby-Webmail-Flakey/m-p/2033851#M56987 and is currently being investigated and fixed.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I have a similar problem that started at around midday today (Monday 5th). I was not able to connect using either IMAP or POP3. I have opened a support ticket with Greenby.

The normally very helpful AI assistant collected relevant data and passed the ticket over to an agent who has yet to appear.

I can still login to the Greenby dashboard, but it cannot show me any mailboxes or webmail.

I have just had a reply:- 

"Apologies for the inconvenience this is causing. We are aware of the issue and our engineers are actively working on a permanent fix. Rest assured, it will be fixed asap. We do appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter."

We'll see how long that takes...

I had an email from Greenby on 165 Dec saying Welcoem to Greenby and emails have been migrated.

One of my Plusnet accounts was migrated a month or so ago and has been working, actually better performance than before., which has allowed me to deal with a long-term spam problem.

However, the current authorisation problem has stopped everything for now... Hopefully, it won't be too long!

You had better luck than myself! The AI said that it was putting me through to an agent at Greenby at 12.30pm and I'm still waiting 😡

I've just joined this community and due to not being able to see my emails, couldn't confirm my address to use this forum. I called plusnet and 'BRENDAN' answered and asked me to log into Greenby using my 'username' and 'password' and that worked, BUT I didn't have any email. 

THEN as if by magic, some emails appeared in my Outlook inbox?!

I'm still very frustrated at having spent 2 precious hours trying to get assistance with a company who are meant to be at the top of their game!? G*d help us PlusNet migrators 😭

My webmail access through the Greenby dashboard is now working, but POP3 access to mail.force9.net and IMAP access to imap.force9.net are timing out with a bad address error. Looks like the server is rebooting, back soon...

IMAP is back now, still no POP3!

POP3 is working for me now.
