unread posts

is it just me missing something , i have noticed for a while after reading new posts , if i have added a reply when i go back to main fourm page , it shows my post as a new unread post ????

After you post, do you click on the Blue box that says "Go to my post".

A bit 'clunky' but it gets rid of that annoyance.

No i dont go back anymore after i realized it was my post   at least i know its not just me ..

also sometimes i get a error with the spellchecker ?

@rongtw  I think you may have misinterpreted my previous response.  Once you've clicked on 'Post'  after a few seconds you get a blue banner saying your post has succeeded  with "click to go to your post".  This updates  the position in the thread that you've read up to.  Clunky?  Yes!

I frequently omit this step myself on busy boards as waiting for the slow page loads takes up valuable time.

On the spellchecking - is it the Americanisms like color that give you problems?  If so see this post in Spellchecking

When you reply to a thread you are taken back to the original message you had clicked reply on. If there are multiple pages, your reply will be added to the end of the thread as you would expect but you are not taken to your new reply on that other page. So in this case your reply would be 'unread'.

@rongtw make sure you have <Show confirmation pages for posts> checked at the bottom of the My Settings : Preferences >Preference Options page then you are prompted to go to your message (if you want).
