Look directly under Browse

Allowed file types: jpeg, jpg, png, pdf
Maximum attachment size allowed: 4096 KB, per post: 9

Although I really don't recommend going anywhere near that limit

Re: size matters

So that's approx 4mb?
I tried to upload a pic, size 2.69MB. Should that not load out am I getting confused here with mb and MB? (Always new where I was with pounds, shillings and pence).

Re: size matters

Download and install Fast Image Resizer  ( FREE !)... it will resize your pics "instantly" the moment you drag and drop it onto the icon on the desktop... and put it in a seperate subfolder in the original
cuts down uploading time to fractions of "normal" size pics....  Wink

Re: size matters

I can agree with shutter, Fast Image Resizer works extremely well. Without looking I think I normally resize to 800 x 600 which works very well with photos emailed.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: size matters

It was a quick snap taken with my phone (which takes something like 13mp photos). I didn't even think about the size until it failed to upload. Unfortunately I can't see a way to resize it on my phone. Will have to look on playstore.

Re: size matters

I never directly upload images to any forum, Tinypic is a much more elegant and sensible option IMHO  Wink

Re: size matters

The only problem with using external sites is they sometimes take a long time to load so that the thread/post you want to read takes longer to load - sometimes a lot longer. And if the image gets deleted from the external site, it's then missing from the post it was in.
There's no reason why 2.69MB shouldn't load - it's definitely a jpg/jpeg or png is it?

A forum I use had a lot of pictures on webshots - all gone of course.

And excuse my typos in my previous post - I've just edited it for future reference - I'm not dyslexic, I just press the keys in the wrong order  Embarrassed
