Or as i have said before , some problems could have different fixes depending on hardware setup .

One fix may NOT fix everyone's problem so some fixes could make problems worse

IIRC, a request has been put to Lithium for ability to turn-off "pinned" fixes on the forum. There is a link in the OP anyway to go straight to the fix, so there is no issue in going straight to it in it's correct location within the thread.

Precisely, and hence the above, as well as the fact it might encourage people to read some of the thread and ask questions where there technical understanding is limited. Alternatively if they really don't want to they can go straight to the fix.

I was reading a thread in the BT forum earlier this afternoon and by chance I noticed it was "fixed" BUT they DID NOT have the pinned fix but there was (correctly) a link in the OP to the fix (which happened to be on page 2 of the thread).

So, WHY HAVEN'T WE GOT THIS here @Chris @jaread83 @LouisaMartin @HarryB ?
is there some setting in a Control Panel somewhere?

The O2 community doesn't duplicate fixes either.

I don't know about Radiant, looks to me like "Radiated" would be more appropriate for a mobile phone forum

I'm pleased to be able to say that the question of "floated fixes" is being looked at, and we may have an answer soon
