Thank you, however that does not appear to match my scenario which was the posting activity here - https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/Smart-devices-keep-going-offline/m-p/2027910#M43346 (post 42). There is no (apparent) link to anything on the LAN.
I will keep an eye open for reoccurrence and provide feedback as and when.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Townman This has made another appearance, I've seen it myself, just browsing the forum and so have others.
I wasn't convinced by staff response on this thread, may be worth chasing up again.

Hi @RealAleMadrid,
In the examples we've looked at, it is caused by copying info from a Plusnet Hub UI.
When the content is pasted, it also brings along a hidden image reference pointing to the router’s local address (192.168.1.254). Modern browsers block this automatically because the forum is served over HTTPS, which triggers the warning.
There’s no security risk and no data is being accessed - it’s simply a leftover image reference from the router’s web interface.
Hope this helps.
James

@James_B Thanks for your explanation but none of that applies to my situation. I was simply browsing the forum, not copying and pasting anything and I have never used any Plusnet supplied router, so there must be other reasons for the warning message.

Hi @RealAleMadrid,
Apologies, my post wasn't particularly clear. It's not the action of pasting the info yourself - it's viewing a thread that has this type of content posted by another user that causes the warning.
