Anyone having problems posting images?

I am not thinking about images being approved after posting, but I mean within the insert 'photos' dialogue.

@James_B - has our dear "the best in the industry forum technology supplier" been tinkering again without telling the business?  From empirical testing, I can post a .png image which is 7.49kB not not one which is 7.57kB.

The attachment file limits are 21MB - I do not presume that they are the same for embedded images, but I would expect that they were at least 10x the apparent limit, if not 100x (up to 3/4 MB.).

Someone, somewhere is 'tinkering' if even SU's can't post a small image. Just what is going off here?

Are you seeing a 403 error, @Townman?

@James_B I've seen a 403 error a couple of times in the last day or so. I don't recall it being related to posting an image though...

I just put it down to the forum throwing a wobbly

Thanks, @MisterW

Khoros have a global issue under investigation with some backend systems so could be related.

No, I was seeing an failure error... in a red banner at the top of the add image dialogue if the file was larger than 7.5kB.

Today I successfully attempted to attach a 3.6MB image.

@James_B

On investigating something else, I have discovered that in spite of the the attach image processing failing, the image were uploaded to the service.  I have lots of images in my image store that were reported to have failed.
