I am on LRS which includes evenings and weekends plus Anytime whereas the new LRS doesn't include any calls
When I renew my LRS a couple of days before October 1st does that include Evenings and Weekends as the new LRS doesn't include any calls at all
The reason for asking is because if I decided to drop the Anytime Package will I revert to Evenings and Weekends or to no calls at all after October 1st

See Bob's reply #21
" If you chose to *renew* your [LRS] contract after 8th May 2013 then you retain the evening and weekend calls. If you take Line Rental Saver *for the first time* after 8th May 2013 then the calls aren't included."

If you take Line Rental Saver after October 1st and are paying £14.50 for your line rental then you'll not get any inclusive calls.

I‘m continuing with my membership “as is” - primarily because of the excellent staff at Technical Support - at least I can understand them - and I’ve appreciated the help
! I pay my line rental yearly, and I’ve recently transferred back to “Evening & Weekend Calls” - will I still get those as part of the deal? If not, I will have to seriously look at going elsewhere.
Thanks

i suggest 'we' ALL contact Ofcom and report it because no matter who is responsible for justifying and implementing these changes (be it PN driven, wholesale driven, across the board) they are simply unacceptable profit-making/increasing schemes..........and at time when the Government are calling for tightening of purse strings due to the economic climate.
really, if you do not think this is a scandalous situation, then i despair.
please, SHOUT at Ofcom - something is not right here.

'cartel'...that is one reason why you should contact Ofcom...they might have cause to at least investigate if enough shouted! I'm not having a go at you, but being seemingly negative about Ofcom (whether its reality or not) further reduces the effectiveness of those bodies especially if no one lets them know! Jumping ship is one form of protest, but (if the alternatives have equally or worse effects) is not always the answer.

its good value if you dont use the phone much and are eligible,at that price the bills paid before the paper bill lands, which shows high prices just drives people away.

Quote from: vilefoxdemonofdoom Even the staff only have "beliefs" when it comes to these price increases!
Figure of speech
Quote from: Mayfly Why is there 2 line rental prices and who pays the extra 49p?
After October 1st there will be two groups of customers paying monthly for their line rental. Those paying £14.99 will have Evenings & Weekend calls included. Those paying £14.50 only get inclusive weekend calls (unless paying extra for a calling package).
Quote from: Javert I pay my line rental yearly, and I’ve recently transferred back to “Evening & Weekend Calls” - will I still get those as part of the deal? If not, I will have to seriously look at going elsewhere.
You'll still get the inclusive calls.
Quote from: glloyd I think they make these announcements as complicated as possible so nobody understands them.
On the contrary I think the tailored emails we're sending make things quite clear (with the exception of some of the wording in an early batch). If anybody's trying to make sense of things before they've received their email though, then I can understand why they might be confused.

I used to have the impression that Plusnet never increased their broadband prices.
I no longer have that impression.
As an ISP, they are no different from any other ISP.
