Welcome Luke - a question
How did you get the job when you aren't called Chris  Grin

The order to change Luke's name to Chris was rejected by PN's suppliers and has been resubmitted.  This was due to the order to change his job to DCT already being in progress and the system can only make one change in any billing cycle.
Welcome Luke btw Smiley

I actually lol'd.

Luke,
Welcome to the front line.  More resource and skill here on the front line could make the complaints department redundant.  Welcome to the world of preemptive prevention of formal complaints.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Introduction

Welcome Luke.
If you'd like, you could answer the following questions so we get to know you a bit:
1. What, if anything, do you geek out about?
2. What, if any, are your sports teams affiliations?
3. What sort of music are you into? Do you play an instrument? Gone to any gigs recently?
4. Where in the country/world, if anywhere, do you feel affinities to, and why?
5. Computer OS preference?
6. Into playing any games (board, sports, computer)?
7. What is your natural alignment? (Lawful v Chaotic, Good v Evil, Neutral with respect to either)
8. Cake or death?
9. Favourite film/book and why?
10.Are you a cricket bat-wielder, a schemer, a diplomat, a peace-keeper? At home, and at Plusnet towers.

Re: Introduction

1. What, if anything, do you geek out about?
I used to be a gamer; football manager mainly but also Civilisation, FPS and MMO's. I don't get chance much now, but I love football on the verge of being a football geek. I love films as well.

2. What, if any, are your sports teams affiliations?

I love Sheffield Wedensday and I always will.
3. What sort of music are you into? Do you play an instrument? Gone to any gigs recently?
I've never been a great musician but I listen to a lot of music. My favourite artists/bands would be Blink 182, Coldplay and Drake. I also love any dance/trance from late 90's early 00's
4. Where in the country/world, if anywhere, do you feel affinities to, and why?
I went on holiday to Florida in 1998 and been back multiple times since. I consider it my second home.
5. Computer OS preference?
I've used most of them (Linux variations, MAC OS and Windows 3.1 upwards) and I genuinely believe that Windows 8 is a triumph Cheesy

6. Into playing any games (board, sports, computer)?

No board games any more, but I used to be into hero quest. If I get any free time it will either involve Football or computer games.
7. What is your natural alignment? (Lawful v Chaotic, Good v Evil, Neutral with respect to either)
Annakin Skywalker
8. Cake or death?
If there's cake in my vicinity it won't last very long Smiley
9. Favourite film/book and why?
The Beach or Rules of attraction. I love both films and both books. Why? dunno, maybe I'm a bit sad.
10.Are you a cricket bat-wielder, a schemer, a diplomat, a peace-keeper? At home, and at Plusnet towers.
Definitely a diplomat at home but on the side of 'cricket bat-wielder' at Plusnet
