Re: Autumn Price increase FAQ's

The reason I said about it being included with ADSL/fibre was because of what it said here under June 2014 changes (http://www.plus.net/support/phone/phone-product-archive.shtml):
Quote
1. June 2014 changes
Line rental was increased from £14.50 to £15.95 per month for all broadband products.
Line Rental Saver was increased from £131.88 to £155.88 annually for all broadband products.
Plusnet Weekends was made free for standard broadband products.
Plusnet Evenings & Weekends was increased from £1.50 to £2.00 for standard broadband products, and included free with fibre optic broadband products.

This is obviously not strictly true as you do not get any free call package with any broadband product and LRS.
Edit: I should add, the FAQ for the June 2014 price changes made no mention that LRS no longer included any calls - http://community.plus.net/plusnet-residential-refresh-faq-june-2014/ So anyone renewing LRS at this time would have been unaware, unless they went through the small print.

Yes please. I am being told we can cancel the LL but have to keep the internet - which is not possible?

Re: Autumn Price increase FAQ's

I've not received email yet but my renewal is due 18th December which allows me a narrow margin to renew 3 months ahead,  at current price, which I will do.

I renewed LRS deal in June with effect from 4th July, I still have weekend and evening calls included. I paid £137.88 upfront (£11.49 pm)

Re: Autumn Price increase FAQ's

As is normal for PN, if you renew you KEEP your existing extra's. I still have E&W/e calls which is what I originally signed up for. It is only for new sign ups that get the new settings.
The same is true of my voip, web pages etc they don't exist on my current package but I still have them.

Re: Autumn Price increase FAQ's

That is correct however this may be different which is why I asked the question
Example renewing before it runs out is presumably different to getting it one month after it runs out but it just isn't stated anywhere whether that is correct or not

Re: Autumn Price increase FAQ's

hi everyone,
i rang plusnet up and chatted to a member of staff with politeness and humour,
i got this deal;
LRS £131.88 FROM 17/7/14 FOR TWELVE MONTHS...................... NO CALL PACKAGE AND CALLER DISPLAY FOR £0.99P PER MONTH
UNLIMITED 76MEG (72 ACTUAL SPEED) FTTC FOR 24 MONTHS AT £12.50 PER MONTH
HAVE BEEN WITH PLUSNET SINCE 2009 AND WILL NOT MOVE BASED ON PRICE ALONE
ANYONE ELSE CHATTED UP THE STAFF WITH SIMILAR RESULTS!!! ???!!!

I am sure if you rang up and were told nothing they could do for you - then you would move.
Also drop the caps please.
