Hi there,
I've have an incredibly slow upload speed of 0.2 Mbps where the maximum achievable is 0.45 Mbps (tested on http://www.speedtest.btwholesale.com/)
My download speed is absolutely fine, but because of the slow upload speed I'm unable to effectively use some applications like Dropbox which I rely on for work - it is very urgent.
Here is the connection information from my router (Technicolor 582n):
DSL Connection
Link Information
Uptime: 11 days, 22:44:06
DSL Type: ITU-T G.992.5
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 443 / 6.240
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [GB/GB]: 1,15 / 1,28
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 13,0 / 0,0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 22,1 / 44,0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 25,5 / 2,8
System Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / ----
Chipset Vendor ID (Local/Remote): BDCM / IFTN
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 18 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 2 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): -
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 50.416 / 1
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 93 / 33.780
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 41 / 106.757
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Plusfin

Hi there,
I'm assuming those speed test results were done over a wired rather than wireless connection?
Also we can place an order to uncap the upstream if you like, that may help if there is a fault at play too, FYI we can usually turn that around within 24 hours.

Hi Adam,
Thanks for the reply.
The test was done over a home wifi connection.
If you can uncap the upstream it would be great - hopefully that will help.
Many thanks

No problem.
I've raised order 1-15898453799 to uncap the upstream tomorrow.
If the upload speed is still as low after tomorrow morning I'd try connecting over a wired connection if possible before getting back to us.
Hope that helps.

Hi Adam,
That seems to have made a massive difference. It is now 0.725 Mbps upload
Thanks!
