I've just refreshed the groups list and found it slow - it appears to still be capped at 36kB/s. I then checked and found that the binary groups were still available.
I thought the binary groups were being removed and it would then not be throttled - what's going on (or not going on)?

They are. We're lookign to switch them off at the start of next month.

That should be sorted shortly after access to the binary groups has been revoked.

Why has this been delayed?

There hasn't been a delay. The end of this month is when I arranged with Giganews to have the binary access disabled. I can't see Metronet customers complaining about having the service for a little longer than we told them they'd have it for tbh

Binary access should now have been disabled and the per connection rate limit upped from 160kbps to 512kbps.
