Re: Speed through the floor.

Hi killies,
One of our agents is talking to BT for you now to try and speed this through, I'll post back when there's more information. Should be in about half an hour, I'm hoping Smiley

Right - done. If it hasn't taken effect now it should do within the next half hour.

Re: Speed through the floor.

Sorry chaps, been out.  Just checked and IP profile is up to 6500k -  looking good. Looking at the stats, I'm guessing I'm getting close to my maximum?  With the noise margin around 10dB am I right in thinking that a temporary increase in noise may cause instability if its pushed further and I'll be back to square 1?  Ta,  Guy.

Re: Speed through the floor.

A temporary increase in noise will only cause a problem if the noise margin approaches zero and the router reconnects at a slower speed to maintain a decent noise margin.

Re: Speed through the floor.

Hi Guy,
Can you post your latest ADSL stats, maybe a set this evening and a set in the morning. It sounds like your Target SNRM has been reset to 9dB. If your line remains stable, ie no connection drops, (no multiple reboots!), low error rate the DLM may drop it to 6dB in due course.

All looks pretty good. Of course wouldn't turn up my nose at a bit more speed, but all in all infinitely better than it was. In fact much better than I ever had with my previous router.
Again, apologies for missing your post,  cheers, Guy.

Re: Speed through the floor.

Hi Guy,
OK, no problem, it's looking v.good. With the ongoing network issues hopefully being resolved, you should see those speeds more often Wink
