Had the engineer visit. He could get into that office but not to a room where the cables and box is situated. He tried to get the keys and it was available only till 4 pm. As it was already 3 pm by then he couldnt practically get the key and sort things before 4 and return the keys.
Hmm..Life is so complicated... I wish the line came directly to the house..
I would have opted for an AM slot if given the choice..
I would be extremely grateful if the nice reps here arrange an AM slot for me so that there is enough time for the engineer with this complicated issue of keys and all.

Really sorry to hear about the issue yesterday. One of my colleagues on the faults team is already dealing with this for you. I've updated the ticket to let them know that you'd like to arrange an AM appointment.

Member centre says booked for 13/2 i.e tomorrow..

A new problem since yesterdays engineer visit..
He had done some wiring checks and all inside the master socket as well as at a connection in a manhole..
My phone is dead..

They said there is some problem in booking thru the automated system and hence will try to book manually.
I also mentioned about the no dial tone fault which started after the engineer fiddled with the master socket yesterday... However the broadband is working as good as before i.e around 12-14 Mbps...
The guy on the phone did some tests and felt there is fault at the exchange end.
He has raised it as a fault and ask for the engineer to look at that as well..
I hope this doesnt confuse the engineer while they continue with tracing the fault re: low broadband speed...

there is no update in member centre yet whether the manual booking has gone through..
could you please check on your system whether its definitely booked for tomorrow. AM..?
