Edit - who will be the first to report this as an off topic post

Not at all pleased - PN removing my posts because I am an ex PN dsl user.
Whatever happened to free speech - please explain exactly why my posts were moved

Re: Product Refresh - off topic troublemakers and related posts

I think you will find that a Mod moved your post who is a Plusnet customer because they are trying to keep the other thread dedicated to information / questions about the product refresh. Other ex customers have posted queries in that thread without action from the mods.

Does anybody reading this thread honestly think that PN will back track on these product changes afterall they are now splashed across every broadband comparison site.
Too late for that.

How exactly is this off topic ?

Re: Product Refresh - off topic troublemakers and related posts

I can't speak for the mod concerned, but I think it would be because the question as I understand it was related to reinstating the old products and peoples views rather than problems (or even positives) with the new products and the way they were promoted. If you want an accurate reason then you would be best off PMing the mod concerned.

Re: Product Refresh - off topic troublemakers and related posts

[Moderator's post by Jim (Oldjim) @ newmillscomp
Because it was not relevant to the discussions of the new product.
The question of free speech is totally irrelevant non of your posts have been removed. The fact that they have been moved to another thread has nothing whatsoever to do with muzzling comments by users or ex users it was purely to try to keep a very long thread more or less on track.
If you don't like the decision please continue this discussion by PM ]

@newmillscomp
You can blame me if you like as it was probably (certainly) my post which threatened the continuity of the topic.
I am grateful for the Moderator's action in moving my post out of harm's way and offer my apologies to all concerned.

Re: Product Refresh - off topic troublemakers and related posts

I take great offense to the word troublemakers in  the title of this thread .
How do I report the entire thread to the mods.
I amd a few others are being branded as troublemakers in a public forum - this is totally unacceptable

@Strat - I unfortunately have reported your post to the mods and will be taking legal advice against the new post title branding me and others as troublemakers

Re: Product Refresh - off topic troublemakers and related posts

@newemillscomp:
I think the thread title is trying to inject some light-hearted humour into the issue, and is more directed at some of the other forum regulars.

Re: Product Refresh - off topic troublemakers and related posts

Thing is, Plusnet know, or at least I hope they know, that if they have got something right and are being unfairly criticised I will defend them just as vehemently (I've only been banned from any forums once and that was on TBB for doing just that).
The last time I had a really major run in with Plusnet it was one of the factors that led to me resigning from PUG - and that was when I launched an attack over their lack of capacity a while back. Plusnet get taken over and more capacity magically appears so who was right then?
