EDIT: What must taken in to account is the wireless extender is likely using the same channel as the Hub One, it will not be possible to change it's channel

Looking at the spec for that Wifi extender, its a 2.4ghz only. So I'd suggest either disabling the 5ghz or splitting the networks by changing the 5ghz SSID on the Hub one.

There seems to be no way to set the wireless channel on the extender, so it either uses the same channel as the router OR it chooses a non interfering one. Only way to determine would be using a scnner app as suggested by @Dan_the_Van above.

WiFi extenders invariably sit on the same channel … as they need to be on the router WiFi channel for the back haul. Not being so would require the extender to be capable of working on two channels concurrently.

A WAP can work on a separate channel thereby spreading the WiFi spectrum utilisation.

According to @Ennyoueffsea the SSID broadcast by the extender is different to the main router , it has _EXT added. If that's on the same channel isnt that going to cause interference ?

So, a blue bar indicates a strong signal. Both your Hub and Extender have a strong signal where you ran the test.

Looking at Analyzer1.png it shows a strong wireless signal 'No name', this should not be off concern provided it stays on channel 13. It would be nice to try and identify what it is.

When in the app if you click the "no Name" in the listing it will open up a screen, this will detail to MAC address, provided this is the devices true MAC address it should be possible to identify the network device manufactory, following example shows a device on channel 1

Can you perform this for both "no Name" networks? Just share the MAC address number rather than a screen shot.

Channel 1 and 6 would be your best choice, I'd avoid channel 11 due to the strong signal on channel 13.

Be interesting to see when your laptop does not connect what the status of wireless signals are and which channel that '"no Name" is on.

Those plots are largely reassuring, with the exception of "No Name" everyone is playing nicely.  See how the channel 13 SSID overlays those on channel 11.

My first suggested wireless analyser is a bit basic, but is functional for looking a channel usage, when I dive deeper in to wireless networks I use.

Just taken a look and there are currently 5 x no names listed with the following MAC addresses.

62:19:b5:6a:b2:74

I'd need to do some research to be sure, but I'd suspect that the "No Name" SSIDs are the HIDDEN ones from PN / BT / EE hubs for the BT DISC functionality.  Such has been mentioned somewhere around this forum before.

Thank you for the other APP ... but I cannot locate it (by search by name) in the Microsoft Store, but for anyone who wants to try it, I found a link in a review article - WinFi Lite - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

HOWEVER, though via that link I can access the details, the GET button for the download is inactive.  Looks like something I need to look more carefully at.

I suspect most of those MAC addresses are associated with Routers backhaul connection (interconnection between network devices) for Mesh systems.

All but 40:32:9d:0d:d6:7b search reveals the vendor is Union Image Co.,Ltd

Could be a camera or similar !?

EDIT: 40:32:9d:0d:d6:7b search reveals the vendor is Union Image Co.,Ltd, all the others provide no vendor details
