Port blocked (443)

I have a very old (Force9) Plusnet account with a static IP.  Despite setting port forwarding in my Plusnet Hub 2 and setting the "Online" Broadband Firewall that my account seems to have to "off", then resetting my Plusnet Hub 2, port 443 seems to remain closed to the internet.

This has worked in the past, but I haven't used the functionality for about a year.

Using a port scanning app every port seems to be closed.  It did seem to work once a few days ago after I had just set the "Online" Broadband Firewall to off and power cycled the Hub.  Seems to have reverted back to blocking the port now, tried setting the online firewall to low then off and power cycling but nothing seems to work?

Anyone got any other ideas?

For transparency I have recently changed the server on the LAN that the port forward goes to, however I don't think the issue is there as I can reach it from the LAN and it has worked from the internet a few days ago.  I'm fairly convinced this is something the "Pusnet" network is blocking?

@Stillforce9 welcome to the community

Did you notice if your broadband (public) IP Address changed when you turned the account based firewall off?

You should see a message in the event log which indicates the port forward rule is working.

hh:mm:ss, dd mmm. FWL Port Forward Server(server IP) TCP <port number> accepted a new connection from <client IP>

For you <port number> would be 443.

Example for a UDP rule

16:22:51, 22 Oct. FWL Port Forward Server(192.168.10.252) UDP 53262 accepted a new connection from 148.252.129.11

You could try turning the account based firewall on 'Low' would be best.

Re: Port blocked (443)

have you set the device you are trying to port forward to use the same IP address in the hub 2?

and then created a rule in the firewall like this

Re: Port blocked (443)

Hi, thanks for your replies.  I'm travelling at the moment so I will try to get someone to login at home to have a look.  The member centre no longer shows all the info like it used to which is a real shame!
