Even if you did qualify it, would most people with these alarms know how they work and be able to answer the question correctly ? probably not...


 

 

OK so following that logic if everyone owning up to any sort of alarm pendant is refused SOGEA/FTTP and is made to stay on 'copper with PSTN'.

So come Jan 2027......... PSTN dies .............then what ?

To qualify ‘refused’, what is happening is that they are being directed to BT who have agents trained in ensuring that vulnerable customers do not lose their potential lifeline.

Plusnet do not have these trained personnel.

and if upon investigation they do not need any 'phone-based' functions because they really are on 4G, are they passed back to PlusNet, or just sold whatever overpriced service BT/EE feel like ?

 

In any other telco that would be classed as slamming.
