No internet since early hours this morning - 4th March

How do you connect to Twitter with no internet?  I haven't got a smart phone.

I did resort to Twitter this afternoon to see if the DNS outage had been resolved only to find Plusnet's account suspended.

Thanks for the reply Linn K - I was thinking along the same lines but didn't think Twitter would have taken such drastic measures. All is fine now.

And you don't need a smartphone to pick up the plusnet twitter feed - I get a text every time Plusnet put out a general tweet.

I threw out a microfilter this morning because I could not connect.  How do you know it is PlusNet and not your modem or microfilter that is at fault when you cannot connect? Is there any way of testing a microfilter?

I started the graph drawing again as I noticed the DNS performance was particularly bad yesterday evening with far too many timeouts. Not looking good.

Are PN  trying something similar  to bt retail with dns network filtering.
They've been cagey about this network filter since el reg reported it.
