Sorry about your hearing, do as Chris suggested and post the ticket number back here as well. One of the CRT guys might follow it through.
Try and get a friend to do the Quiet Line Test for you.

Re: New to Plusnet, terrible experience so far :(

I've run a PSTN check which has not found any issue. I also note that you have forthcoming changes on the account due on the 2nd May. This should help, as should the fault report.

What's happening on the 2nd of May? (aside from my son's birthday)

Re: New to Plusnet, terrible experience so far :(

I'm intrigued.
I've looked through my account and I can't find anything that refers to any changes on the 2nd of May  Huh
In the mean time, I must've just dropped connection again, most likely your test I assume.
Router's been connected for 18 minutes, now the stats now look like this !!  Shocked
EDIT: Those numbers look wierd, how can you have MINUS a nmber of errors? lol
Anyway, I refreshed the page and all upstrem errors have gone to zero, but the downstream ones are on the increase.

Yes, that would have been my test. The account has a note saying you've being upgraded to 21CN, but you're already on it. I've been tracking down every BTw system to check what it is, the unfortunately it's not that transparent.

It's interleaving, raised automatically when the fault was raised.

Ah, am I right in thinking that interleaving would possibly help with stability but will be awful for online gaming? (I read that somewhere)

Re: New to Plusnet, terrible experience so far :(

To an extent yes. When the actual fault is fixed though, we'll remove the interleaving (and we'll do it manually so it will be off the working day after we place the order).

Re: New to Plusnet, terrible experience so far :(

I know it's naughty to change routers in the middle of all this, but I've just switched back to the plusnet supplied router.
It's showing an interleave depth of 1 (no interleaving), confirming what the BT router was telling me (latency type: Fast - no interleaving)
Does that mean interleaving is switching on on the 2nd of May? Was that what you meant?

Anyway, Thank's again for looking into this for me.

Yes, but we can always change the decision next week.

Re: New to Plusnet, terrible experience so far :(

OK, an update.
Interleaving started at 32bit, but has now moved up to 64 bit (maximum?)
Stability is still poor.
Was trying to download a small game on xbox one just now and was getting awful speed. We turned absolutely everything off in the house, including wifi on our phones etc, just in case something was downloading in the background.
We were getting between 0.00bps to 327bits (yes, BITS!)  per second. At one point it was holding steady at 1.27bits ber second. (again, that's not Kilobits, or Megabits, just bits.)
I fired up the pc and tried a speedtest, but obviously it wouldn't load. So I screen dumped the router stats just before pulling the RJ11 cable to re-sync. I haven't reset or unplugged the router since Friday.
After the re-sync it seemed okay at 3.5Mbps, but has since slowed down to about 1.5Mbps.

Also, I'm not sure but I think our connection completely went down on Saturday night. It was back up again on Sunday morning anyway, but something that was scheduled didn't download during the night. Could be something else though, I don't know.
I've attched a few pics of today's experience for reference
EDIT:Back along someone asked for my question number. Anyway, here it is: Question #103282484

This is your stability for the last few days ...

I can't see the throughput overnight, but the connection appeared stable.
