Kodak wifi printer not detected

I deleted the device, then attempted to locate it using the Kodak wizard which has never worked, and it did not work again. I used the Win 7 wizard, but only the one where you select from a list could locate the printer. It worked, so I restarted the laptop and it worked again, so in disbelief (I have been trying since 1 Jan 11) I switched off both the printer and the laptop, restarted both and it still works

Is this with the modified writemode and safenat settings?

Yes, but I did not delete the device and re-install it with the old settings, so I don't know whether these would have worked.

I'm afraid my burst of optimism was misplaced. I am back to the laptop not being able to detect the printer. Any more ideas?

Have the writemode and safenat settings perhaps changed back to the defaults?

I entered upnp config into the command box and the write mode and safenat settings are the same as when it did print OK, however it cannot detect the printer again, spraxyt.

You could always try a different router.... the v8 is inherently unreliable with wifi.

Any progress on this? I have exactly the same issue - if I want to print I need to re-boot my router.

Do you have the latest firmware 8.2.7.8 on the router?
