Issues Loading Webpage's and no return from google dns

Hello, 

I have been experiencing issues since yesterday with abnormally slow website and app loading especially discord which doesn't seem to connect at all, initially I tried other devices on wifi and ethernet still experience the same issue, then restarted the router which didn't fix the issue. I did some testing and began pinging cloudflare's dns and google's dns but I am not getting any returns from 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4, 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 work just fine. I don't know a massive amount about networking but I would assume switching my dns to cloudflare in the plusnet router settings would fix my issue but it doesn't seem it. 

The following day (today) I called plusnet and they advised me there may be an issue and I followed their instruction to reboot the router again this also did not fix my issue but did fix whatever issue they were seeing on their end. They advised they would contact openreach. After this call I done some more testing I can successfully ping google's dns when I run cloudflare warp on my PC and websites now load at normal speeds but obviously this doesn't fix the issue on my phone. I may add this is on a brand new line I took out 3 months ago so the fix in that thread doesn't really seem applicable to me. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

For an update I called Plusnet again and requested a new static ip, but told me they switched to dynamic ip's but they would assign me a temporary one for 1 hour and it seems to have fixed my issue I can now reach 8.8.8.8 and websites are loading fast. It remains to be seen if this still works once this expires.

Looks like I'm having pretty much the same issue. Some sites just completely fail DNS lookup, problem across multiple devices, ethernet and wifi, and not resolved with reboot, reset, factory reset etc. 

Called support, they're sending out a new router, not convinced this will fix the issue

I think we had the same issue ( here ) and it was fixed by a Static IP. PN have then acknowledged the problem and fixed it - and removed me from the Static IP - and it now works perfecty again.
