Yes, it should do - it can take a while though, so as long as it stays stable for a couple of days then we can reset the line and let it retrain at its best possible speed.

Have fitted new router and ADSLNation faceplate. Modem now connects and uploads. Line speed only 6 meg now. Was 7.4meg before and ping back to mid 40s and speed about 4.9mbps from 6.16 before the faults.
FEC errors low at the mo. Will see how it goes but can someone monitor my connection in lieu of resetting the line to get speeds back?
