Help - No router lights

My kitten just knocked the router off the windowsill and now it's totally dead. It only fell 3 ft, but I've had it unplugged for 5 mins and just plugged back in, checking the leads/connections on the back, but it's totally dead. No lights at all.

I know it's my issue, so fine to pay for a new one, but I need one ASAP as I work from home. I can't find anywhere on the site where you can just order a new router.

Please can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you so much

@lostkat   Welcome to the Plusnet Community Fora.

That’s strange. Have you made sure that the plug is fully in the mains socket and the power plug in the hub.

To contact Plusnet I’m afraid that you will have to ring in.

Re: Help - No router lights

Yes I thought so too. It wasn't a big fall at all. I've checked all the leads between router and socket and I'm convinced, although pretty surprised, that it's dead.

Damn, was hoping it could be ordered via here as I'm on calls (via hotspot) all morning. I'll call them when I can. Thanks for your help.

Re: Help - No router lights

I suspect that you’ve damaged the power input plug or socket on the back of the hub and it’s not getting any power.

@lostkat

Silly question, have you made sure you've pushed the power button in, even turned on it looks to be flush with the casing.

Re: Help - No router lights

I fixed it about 15 mins ago... this was exactly the issue.

Must have been knocked on the way down to the floor. Either that or my kittens are extremely dexterous! 🤣

Really impressed with the quick and helpful responses. Thanks !!
