Do you get told when 21cn upgrade will take place?

Hi I have a ticket open to upgrade to 21cn adsl2+ raised last Friday and was wondering if you get told prior to the upgrade when it may happen. I know it says 5-7 working days but was wondering it BT tell you so you could tell me or is it going to be a surprise when it happens?

Assuming your order has been processed, it would take between 7-10 working days to go through. You don't normally get an e-mail to confirm that you have been upgraded. If you like, I'd be more than happy to check for you first thing in the morning?

Thanks for looking at it for me, can say I am disappointed that the orignal ticket has not gone anywhere, so will have to wait again another 7+ days for the switch. Any chance you can monitor and let me know when a date for change appears? You could just drop me a email as not always on forums.

Upon looking into this further, I can see that an order was placed for this regrade however, it appears to have failed on BT's side of things, this appears to have happened again, I'll look into this now for you. I'll send you a ticket on your account with further information and updates regarding this.

Thread hijack.
We had our house move ticket complete yesterday and everything is up and running ok but I am not sure we have been switched to 21cn or not.
I understand we are still in the line training period but we are getting very very low speeds similar to what we got at the old property when we were on 20cn

You would only see an increase in speed if you were syncing 7000+kbps on 20CN. If you were syncing below this then you will see very little or no increase in speed.

Old house : around 5 Mbs down
New house is supposed to be around 15 Mbs down and I am getting around 4 Mbs down, hence the question

I can see that your House Move has completed successfully, your current sync rate is just over 16Mb which is in line with the 15Mb speed you should receive. I've had your speed changed on our side to match your estimated speed. You may need to reboot your router for this to take effect. Please let me know if you notice any changes

Can I have my upload uncapped like I had at my previous address please?

That's looking a lot better! I've placed an order for your upload speeds to be uncapped. This will most likely complete on Tuesday with it being a weekend. I've popped the BT order number on your account.
