DSL disconnected. This is how i fix it :>

Hello there!
For last few days I'm losing my DSL connection (twice, three times a day) . Dunno about reason, BUT what I've figured out.... When disconnected and router trying hard to connect again simply getting my mobile phone and dial land line number. Now million pounds question. How and why does it work?  Shocked So curious.

Probably a telephone line fault:
My guess would be that a poor joint in the line with a high resistance (HR fault) is very possible, a microscopic layer of corrosion in the joint increases resistance and degrades the DSL, ringing the telephone causes a higher voltage which breaks down the corrosion temporarily restoring the ability for the DSL to connect.
You'd need a telephone line test to identify this and an engineer to fix it.
