Sorry, I'm afraid that is the way the BT group work these days. I'm no longer with PN, and my ISP seems to be able to push things a bit harder. Saying that, whenever I have had a problem, fortunately very rarely in my ~30 years of the 'net, I've been lucky with the engineers I've had, as they have always sorted the issue when they've attended.

It is what it is I guess, is there anyway I could possibly speed someone coming out up instead of having to wait for this new router

Unfortunately, @ghamilton123 , I think the truthful answer is 'no', as this is the way Plusnet have to operate, having been totally subsumed into BT Consumer.

Engineers came out told me to replace the router cable see if that helps, but it "could also be a rein fault", but also said the cabling is fine?

@ghamilton123 Sorry for late response - no internet at the moment - having to use 4G on the iPad and I don’t like it!
sounds like the engineer is a bit of rum ‘un.
I would get in touch with PN.

Would also like to add, the engineer claimed the "cable should be fine" due to the fact that the line is capable of 110mbps, "the cable cant be corroded or loose" would someone else be able to confirm if that's true or not

A view of the Hubs >Advanced Settings >Technical Log >Information would show show some more detail of your connection
Either Export it and attach the csv file or post a screen shot, just make sure you hide your broadband username.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
